Are you ready for the big premiere on December 18th? When we get to go back to that magical world full of some of our favorite characters? Of course you are, that’s why you bought your ticket to see the new comedy Sisters months ago. I mean, what other plans did you have for December 18th anyway?
Since Sisters comes out on the same day as The Force Awakens, Universal Pictures has brought us their own Star Wars-esque behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Tina Fey and Amy Poehler film.
In the promo, the stars of the film talked about what it was like to work on such a beloved franchise, although Fey and Poehler had to talk about it in British accents to hide how drunk they were. âThis film means so much to so many people, you just know what itâs going to be like, when it reaches the cine-mar,â said Poehler.
âGrowing up I had a Sisters lunchbox, I had all the Sistersâ toys,â said Ike Barinholtz, âFor Halloween I used to dress up like Maya Rudolph.â
Speaking of Rudolph, she was in awe at getting to work with so many legends. âI am a legend!â she screamed at one lucky P.A., âSometimes I see my name in crossword puzzle answers!â Plus she showed off her really spot-on Chewbacca impression.
One of the big selling points for the movie is the use of practical special effects. âA real house, a real pool, practical vomit effectsâ are all any of us want from our big budget flicks anyway.
Sure, you may have already purchased your ticket for Star Wars: The Force Awakens on December 18th, but remember, #YouCanSeeThemBoth. Besides, only one of the two was smart enough to use George Takei to promote their film.
