Three Clips from HANNIBAL Season 3, Ep 7 ‘Digestivo’

It’s been a fairly weird half-season for NBC’s recently-cancelled Hannibal, but tonight sees the conclusion of the “Let’s Hunt Hannibal Lecter” storyline in Season 3, Episode 7, “Divestivo,” which will also be the last in the Italian food words episode titling convention (one of the less fun conventions). With all the pieces in motion, what will become of Hannibal and Will Graham, whom we last saw hanging upside down by their heels in someone’s freezer. How did they get there? We’ll find out on Saturday night.

NBC has released three clips for the episode. The first is about Jack Crawford, still tied up and with an IV in his neck, meeting the mysterious gun-toting Chihyo, who badly wants to know where Hannibal has been taken. Luckily for Jack, he’s got the information and is plenty willing to give it up.

The second explains who took Hannibal and Will, and obviously it’s Mason Verger, whose money and hatred have gotten him a long, long way. He’s not content just to kill Lecter, he wants to make the sadistic cannibal suffer first before he eats him himself. And, bad luck, looks like Will Graham’s partially on the menu, too.

And finally, a word of warning about keeping Hannibal Lecter alive from our old pal Dr. Alanna Bloom, who is finally acting like the voice of reason, despite her kind of being a treacherous and duplicitous herself. She says any kind of leeway is too much, and she’s not wrong.

Hannibal airs Saturday night at 10pm ET/PT and will probably have lots of death. Just assuming. Next week will begin the Red Dragon storyline!
