THOR: RAGNAROK Behind-the-Scenes Video Promises Non-Stop Fun

We’d be hard pressed to name many movies that have ever had better teasers and trailers than Thor: Ragnarok. Every new look we get blows us away, and makes us feel like November (when it hits theaters) is a million years away. Because it doesn’t just appear it will be the best Thor movie so far, it looks like it could be the most fun, most hilarious entry yet in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But if we were at all worried about whether or not it can live up to our seemingly impossible expectations, a new featurette shows that what we’ve been given in the trailers is what we’re going to get from the movie.

In this behind-the-scenes video from Marvel Entertainment, director Taika Waititi, along with stars Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, talk about what they were trying to do with this movie. The beautiful aesthetics, giant actions sequences, and comedy that have made the trailers so good aren’t just some clever editing, those are the defining traits of the film.

Give us this movie right now. Also we’re going to need way more footage of Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston complementing each other on set.

We’ve been fooled by great trailers before (:waves at Prometheus:), but after watching this video we’re more sure than ever Thor: Ragnarok is going to be as good as we anticipate. We’ve had fun watching clips, and by making our very own ’80s-style trailer, but it’s time for the real thing.

Just please don’t let the world end before November 2nd when it comes out. Unless Cate Blanchett is prominently involved in that too.

What are your expectations for the movie? Tell us in the comments below.
