November 16th at 8pm it’s Iron Comic!
Iron Comic is a fast-paced comedy game show with no stakes where 5 comedians rush to write routines in 8 minutes from topics suggested by the audience. At the end of each show, an Iron Comic is chosen. Inspired by Iron Chef, each comic is forced to craft jokes while the clock is ticking.
Iron Comic is hosted by Nato Green (Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, Laughter Against the Machine, SF Sketchfest), accompanied by house band DJ Douggpound (Tim & Eric, Portlandia, Funny or Die).
With special guests Kurt Braunohler, Morgan Murphy, Laurie Kilmartin, Todd Glass, and Ian Edwards, plus music from Zach Sherwin and Karen Kilgariff!

November 18th at 7pm it’s Nerdist Open Mic!
Come watch Kyle Clark and John Ungaro host this comedy free-for-all. Youâll see brand new comics, comics you know and love trying out new material, and the magic that is live comedy.

November 19th at 7pm it’s Writerâs Guild Foundation presents Genre Smash with Ash Miller & Zack Stentz!
If youâre looking for the geekiest meet-cute you can find, you wonât do much better than Ash Miller and Zack Stentz, who met in an online chat about Star Trek and soon became writing partners. Since then, the two have worked on such geektastic properties as the X-Men franchise, Fringe, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Thor. Theyâre also working on the upcoming Fall Guy movie.
Hereâs why Ash and Zack are truly awesome, though: Theyâre joining us for the inauguration of Genre Smash, our new series where we chat with writers of the finest science fiction, fantasy, horror and comedy working in the industry today.

RISK! is the show where people tell true stories they never thought they’d dare to share in public. Stories they’d normally only tell to close friends. At the RISK!
