On Saturday, August 27th at 8pm, we have Captured Aural Phantasy Summer Camp!
Are you ready for the (end of) summer?! Captured Aural Phantasy Theater celebrates the season by interpreting nuggets of pop culture straight from the height of the Silver Age. Revel to live, dramatic readings of vintage comic book stories including one that follows that super-playa Superboy as he dates both Lana and Lois at summer camp. In between, enjoy comedic bits, music, campfire songs, art and special surprises pulled from mid-century culture including an audience participation version of a tiki classic. This show offers a special guest appearance by the super-powered surf band âThe Noble Gasses.â Get there early!
Tickets are $10, and watch this fun promo by Christina Johns (@c_johns) to get you in the mood!:
On Sunday, August 28th at 5:30pm (NEW TIME FOR THIS WEEK) it’s Matt Mira’s Day Off

After the mic, on Sunday, August 28th at 8pm, we give you An Evening with Brendon Walsh!
This comic, seen on Conan and John Oliver’s New York Standup Show on Comedy Central, is one of the best storytellers around. Come and watch him do a headlining set, with guests Duncan Trussell and Randy Liedtke!
