This POV Video of the World’s Largest Parkour Course is Breathtaking

Parkour has been a pop culture presence for a long time now. We’ve seen the Mario Bros. do it. We’ve seen a dinosaur do it (Jurassic Parkour, get it?). Parkour has the potential to be a marvel of a sight, because of how difficult it is to pull off and because it can take place in breathtaking environments. This video from Calen Chan checks both of those boxes: He recently found himself at the Skyladder Parkour course at Tianman Mountain in China, and what resulted from his adventure is an amazing POV video (via Sploid).

“I had the wonderful opportunity to come and play here at this beautiful location called Heaven’s Gate,” he wrote in the video description. “It has an average incline of 45 degrees, and is 999 steps long (about 3 football fields)! Obviously this was difficult, and I physically couldn’t sprint down the entire path of deadly drops without slowing down, but I did my best!”

The other thing we haven’t mentioned yet is that apparently Chan doesn’t own a head or chest strap for his GoPro, because he filmed his entire descent (nearly 300 yards, mind you) with his action camera in his mouth. He says he’s the only person to ever do that, and without verifying that claim ourselves, we believe him.
