This Legoland Hotel Lets You Dream Within a Dream

It is looking like Legoland in Florida is finally taking a page from the other two Lego-based theme parks. Last month, Legoland cut the ribbon on a new Lego Hotel in Winter Haven, FL. That is Lego as in based on Legos, not to be confused with the various life-sized buildings made of Legos that we have seen in the past. With their key demographic being children between the ages of 2 and 12, the Lego theme runs deep in everything about the hotel. The outside archway and pillars are painted to look like giant Lego bricks, and guests are greeted by a Lego Kingdom Dragon that actually billows smoke out of his nostrils.

The hotel also boasts a massive collection of mini-figures in one section, safely guarded by a brick-built surfer dude as well as rooms that range in Lego themes. Guests have a choice of either bunking in rooms based on Lego Pirates, Lego Kingdom, Lego Adventure, or Lego Friends. Rooms are decorated to fit their themes and also come with a treasure chest that can only be unlocked after the kids in the room complete a scavenger hunt around the hotel. Meanwhile, parents are welcome to get a drink at the bar, or even take a refreshing dip at the hotel’s pool. We would recommend against drowning in the pool though, it seems the Lifeguard wouldn’t the most reliable to come in after you.
