This Found Footage Festival Rap Remix Is All About… Dogs

The Found Footage Festival is exactly what it sounds like. No, thankfully, it is not a collection of all those shaky-cam horror films from the fifteen years, but instead a touring comedy/video festival featuring clips of old videos. The clips range anywhere from outtakes of commercials, to instructional VHS tapes, and even bits of old TV documentaries. Projected on a large screen for a crowd and presented with running jokes and commentary, the festival is almost like a live version of Mystery Science Theater 3000, but for videos about workplace safety or Arnold Schwarzenegger at Carnival in the ’80s. The clips, many of which can be found on the festivals website, have found plenty of fame on the internet as well.

One of the clips, titled “Special Delivery: Whelping” has drawn the attention of musician/comedian Freddy Scott. Scott, a friend to this site, has worked with us on the music for several Nerdist Presents videos including the theme to Friends: Rebooted and the music for Blank Page. Freddy has created a remixed video that he both edited and provided the music for based on FFF’s newest clip. Needless to say after seeing “Special Delivery,” it will be quite obvious that Freddy’s musical choice is spot on. Check out the video and leave us a comment in the section below if you think any of the other clips from the festival’s site could use a remix.
