This Custom R2-D2 Themed PS4/Laptop Hybrid Is BATTLEFRONT Ready

Can you believe that Star Wars is making a comeback? Take a second to appreciate what’s to come in the near future. In the same year we are getting both a new film that may actually turn out to be great and a new Battlefront game. Plus Amy Hennig is working on another Star Wars title as well. Neither Midi-chlorians nor Jar Jar could ruin this (knocks on wood). All that’s missing is some sort of Star Wars themed console to play said games. Unfortunately nothing official has been announced by Sony about a special edition console, even though it would make perfect sense with the marketing deal they inked, but Eddie Zarick has your back. Here is his R2-D2 themed Playbook 4 masterpiece, which in short is a PS4, laptop hybrid that will chirp at you and light up like the little droid it’s trying to emulate.

Created with parts produced with a 3D printer, a little help from the folks over at Astromech, this bad boy will allow you to game like a Jedi–minus the lightsabers and the Force. All the minor details on the body of the contraption are impressive. It isn’t currently up for sale, but the artist has had similar projects that are now up for grabs. All you’ll need is a large sum of cash, of course.

It’s certainly a grand time to be alive. All we need now is for Battlefront to be in our possession already. What do you think about this system? What other characters would you like to be immortalized in this same form? Use all of your force to let us know in the comments section below.
