This Cat Bonnet Is Purrrfection

There’s no more adorable cat than one that’s dressed up, though your pet would probably fight you on that. To the death. If you happen to have a willing kitty then you are luckier than most because the world of cat-fashion is your oyster!

The Mary Sue introduced us to the newest in feline fashions, which happens to be a throwback to the old West. The prairie bonnet is here for the cat who wants to live life to the fullest in the 1800s. Indeed, you and your kitten can channel your inner Laura Ingalls Wilder and live out scenes from Little Cat On the Purrairie.

Made by the geniuses at Archie McPhee, whose previous gifts to the cat community include the Cat Unicorn Horn and Cat Wizard Hat, The Cat Bonnet is 100% cotton with a smooth inner satin lining for comfort. Doesn’t that cat look comfortable? It sure does. It doesn’t look like it’s going to get revenge on you while you sleep at all.

The sizing on the bonnet says it “fits most cats.” Hm, we all know from our own one-size-fits-all experience that it doesn’t always, and therefore you should probably make sure your oversized-headed cat doesn’t develop a complex when you can’t get that bonnet around it’s giant noggin. Sorry big-headed cats, but you may have just found your out.

The Cat Bonnet is currently available on mcphee.com.
