These Super Small POKEMON Sculptures Are the Size of Your Fingertip

Have you ever wondered what it’s like inside a Pokéball? We’re sure you have, along with just about every other Pokémon fan. Are the Pokémon just kind of cramped in there? It doesn’t seem like there would be much room inside, especially when the balls are in their smaller state. So are the Pokémon shrunk down? If they are, then Ruby Huang (lonelysouthpaw) seems to have created an accurate visual representation of their actual in-Pokéball size with her fingertip-sized Pokémon sculptures that she calls Pinkymon.

Huang has recently started uploading photos of her creations on Instagram, but there are more images available on her deviantArt account. As part of what she calls Project 151, Huang’s goal is to create minuscule polymer clay sculptures of the original 151 Pokémon. Since early last year, she has completed Pokémon number 1 through 28: Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Caterpie, Metapod, Butterfree, Weedle, Kakuna, Beedrill, Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot, Ratatta, Raticate, Spearow, Fearow, Ekans, Arbok, Pikachu, Raichu, Sandshrew, and Sandslash.

Huang also makes a bunch of small non-Pokémon sculptures, like these kiwi kiwis, these No Face (kaonashi) from Spirited Away, and this adorable figure of Adventure Time‘s Jake snuggling with Lady Rainicorn. Even though most of her non-Pokémon creations take up an inordinate amount of space–almost her entire palm sometimes!–they are still equally cute.

She sometimes sells her creations on Etsy, so maybe you can get your hands on one of these tiny Pokémon if you’re lucky. We’d probably hang on to those if we were her, though.
