These CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Jackets Bring Style to Superhero Warfare

Whether they are in costume or out, the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are always styled to perfection. I can remember watching Bucky in civilian clothes in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and thinking, “Damn, I want that jacket!” Well, good news for me—and probably you too—the folks at Angel Jackets felt the same way and have produced a whole line of jackets based off of Captain America: Civil War.

There’s a lot to love about the look of these jackets, but the fact that the Angel Jackets folks went out of their way to capture the looks of the characters outside of their iconic costumes is supremely awesome. Yes, that Captain America costume-themed jacket is awesome. It looks great. But man oh man that distressed Cap leather jacket that Steve wears when he’s just hanging out? I’ll take one of those, please.

Superhero inspired clothing is becoming more and more prevalent in our culture. There was a time, not that long ago, when you had to buy superhero t-shirts from comic book shops or conventions. Now, you walk into any clothing store and they are loaded with every kind of superhero shirt you can think of. These jackets take things a step further, though, allowing us to dress like our favorite characters both in and out of costume. It’s insane to think we’ve come to this point, that the superhero takeover of our culture is so complete. It’s insane and pretty damn cool, especially for those of us who have been reading comic books our whole lives.

You can check out more Cap jackets in our gallery below, and head over to the Angel Jackets website to pick out a few for yourself. Their selection isn’t just limited to Captain America: Civil War. They got James Bond jackets, Wonder Woman-inspired gear, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens threads. Plenty of cool stuff and, if we do say so ourselves, fairly reasonably priced.
