There’s a GAME OF THRONES Coloring Book Coming Out, Kids!

The night is dark and full of crayons, and all men must color. You know what makes the cold, hard realities of murder and sexual violence go down easy like pudding? Bright, sunshine-y colors, Duke! Which is exactly why Game of Thrones has decided to commission itself a coloring book. Yes, you read that right: the HBO and George R.R. Martin epic fantasy opus about the song of ice and fire will give its fans 45 pages of scenes from the series that YOU can now paint with all the colors of the rainbow.

Per The New York Times (who’s now reporting on coloring books — what a time to be alive!), the book will be a 45-paged smorgasbord of images from a litany of artists, bringing their own style and vision of Westeros to life (well, almost: you do the actual life-bringing with your crayons and colored pencils) and come to us from Bantam, the folks that also publish Martin’s so-big-it-hurts book series itself.

And while the violence of the show itself might make you scratch your head and say, “wha?” the union of DIY-ness and the Known Realm actually makes a lot of sense when you consider the endless amount of dragons, White Walkers, giants, and other fantastical entities that make up this vivid world. No word on how many of the brothel babes we’ll see littered on the pages or if it’ll be SFW (because y’know how Thrones feels about them boobies).

Would you buy a Thrones-themed coloring book? What scene would you most want to color? Let’s hear it in the comments.
