THE VENTURE BROS. Finally Return in New Season 6 Trailer!

It’s been over two years since The Venture Bros. Season 5 came to an end, but at long last, the sixth season is finally within sight!

Earlier this year, The Venture Bros. special “All This and Gargantua-2” set the stage for the forthcoming season by depicting the destruction of the Venture compound and the space station Gargantua-2—as well as the rebirth of the Guild of Calamitous Intent with a new Council of 13. The gregarious J.J. Venture also sacrificed his life to save everyone on Gargantua-2, but as revealed in the epilogue scene from Adult Swim’s website, J.J. left Rusty Venture a fortune in his will. For the first time in his life, Rusty is a very rich man.

The opening seconds of the new trailer play up on this revelation as Rusty goes into perhaps the happiest catatonic state in human history, winking at the long time between seasons with nearly 40 seconds of teasing. Once it gets to 1 minute mark though, things start to get back to that familiar brand of Venture Bros. insanity. The Captain America send-up that Brock fights is particularly hilarious, and we get a glimpse of Dr. Mrs. The Monarch, The Monarch, and 21 at home before an extended clip features Dean in college as he gets a tour from Brown Widow—Nathan Fillion‘s anatomically correct Spider-Man-like character from the fourth season!

The Venture Bros. Season 6 will premiere on Adult Swim in 2016.
