ALIEN: COVENANT Video Introduces Michael Fassbender’s New Android Walter

If you’ve been itching to learn a little more about Walter, the android character whom Michael Fassbender plays in Alien: Covenant, today’s Movie Morsels has you covered with a new video. Plus, we’ve got the latest casting news on the live-action Dumbo, a new behind-the-scenes look at this weekend’s Kong: Skull Island, and plenty more for you peeps!

Alien: Covenant

Our latest look at Sir Ridley Scott’s return to the universe he launched back in 1979 gives us more of Michael Fassbender’s Walter. Unlike David, his synthetic predecessor in Prometheus, we heard on our visit to the film’s set that Walter is a friendly fellow who exists only to serve his crew mates. Why then does this video make me concerned he might be just a little too eager to serve?

Batman Returns

You gotta love it when two old friends reconnect. Danny DeVito first worked with Tim Burton on the latter’s 1992 gothic phantasmagoria Batman Returns, and then again on Mars Attacks!, and finally on the fantastical Big Fish. Now we hear DeVito is in talks to join Burton a fourth time for the director’s live-action remake of Disney’s Dumbo. Eva Green is also in discussions to sign on for the project, so it looks like Mr. B is intent on putting together a cast full of his favorites for this one.

Three more big names are hitching their wagons to Pixar’s Cars 3. Kerry Washington, Nathan Fillion, and Lea DeLaria will appear in the film as a red sports car named Natalie Certain, a luxury car named Sterling, and a school bus named Miss Fritter. (Awww.) Images of all three new characters can be seen below.
