In under a week, this year’s biggest TV crossover is hitting National City! Grant Gustin is bringing the Flash to Supergirl, and worlds are colliding!

CBS has released the trailer for “World’s Finest,” which finds Barry Allen trapped on Supergirl’s world. The video glosses over how Barry got there and how he came to be on a first name basis with Melissa Benoist’s Kara. Instead, it jumps to instant camaraderie between the two heroes as they team up to take down Silver Banshee and Livewire.

In fact, the villains seem inconsequential in this trailer, as Supergirl and the Flash enjoy their team up even when they’re racing to see who the fastest person really is. It’s also worth noting that Cat Grant and the people of National City have realized that a new hero is in town. This raises an interesting question: how long will Barry be stuck in Supergirl’s universe? And what’s happening in Central City while he’s gone?

The Flash’s series on The CW teased this team up a few weeks ago when Supergirl’s world was glimpsed during Barry’s trip to Earth-2. In the aftermath of that adventure, the portals to Earth-2 were closed off in an attempt to keep Zoom from returning. But perhaps Barry’s trip to Supergirl’s Earth came about because he’s attempting to get back to Earth-2 to confront Zoom and save the Man in the Iron Mask.

Supergirl’s crossover with the Flash airs this Monday, March 28 on CBS.
