Hunger Games fever is spreading once more. A few weeks ago we saw the release of “Yellow Flicker Beat”, Lorde‘s contribution to the soundtrack for the upcoming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1. But since Lorde also curated the film’s OST, her contributions continue. She also appeared on the Chemical Brothers’ track, their first new song in two years, “This Is Not a Game”, when it debuted on Zane Loweâs BBC radio show on Sunday.
And today we’ve got the (almost) full track list for the album, only track 5 of which is missing, from iTunes’ UK preorder page, via Stereogum. It boasts offerings from up and coming artists — like Tove Lo (“Scream My Name”), Raury (“Lost Souls”), and Tinashé (“The Leap”) — as well as familiar ones — like Simon Le Bon (with Charli XCX on “Kingdom”), Bat for Lashes (“Plan the Escape”), and Grace Jones (“Original Beast”). Movie nerd fun fact: Simon Le Bon (with Duran Duran) sang the title track for the 1985 James Bond thriller A View to a Kill, in which Grace Jones starred.
And of course we can expect more Lorde — including a Kanye West remix of “Flicker” and the album’s finale, “Ladder Song”. Most spectacular perhaps is the album’s star-studded opening track, “Meltdown”, by Stromae with Lorde, Pusha T, Q-Tip, and HAIM.
Here’s the full track list:
01 Stromae â âMeltdownâ (Feat. Lorde, Pusha T, Q-Tip, And HAIM)
