The PlayStation 4 To Recieve SKULLS OF THE SHOGUN: BONE-A-FIDE EDITION

Undead samurais are coming to the PlayStation 4 thanks to 17-BIT’s Skulls of the Shogun, according to the PlayStation Blog.

The fast-paced turn-based strategy game, known as 17-BIT’s love letter to Advance Wars, was previously released on the Xbox 360, PC, and mobile devices last year and is now making its way to a “next-gen” console for the first time ever.

“We’re proud to say that Skulls has never looked or played better,” stated 17-Bit in today’s press release. “The game’s lavishly painted and hand-animated characters look gorgeous on the PS4.  And, for your ears, Bone-a-Fide features a distinctive soundtrack of samurai grooves composed by Makyo and Sam Bird, featuring a brand-new performance of the theme song by underground chiptunes DJ, Mega Ran!” Here’s a look at the announcement trailer:

Skulls of the Shogun: The Bone-a-Fide Edition releases on the PlayStation 4 later this year.
