This New MR. ROBOT Video Empowers the People

After everything that went down in the season one finale of USA Network’s insanely good series Mr. Robot, it should come as a surprise to pretty much no one that the anarchy and power struggle between the people and the banks controlling the world would be upped in season two. And in a spot for the sophomore run of the Rami Malek and Christian Slater-fronted hacking thriller, the new “We The Bold”-centric spots confirm those totally not-at-all paranoid suspicions and more.

It should be noted there will be season one spoilers below—you’ve been warned!

Sounding far more like a revolution leader and bona fide anarchist, Malek’s Eliot narrates the clip with his typically detached timbre, only this time there’s a lot more at stake. Not that that’s surprising considering the insane cliffhanger (a.k.a. the state of the world economy) when we last saw Mr. Robot on screen. And now that Eliot’s aware of who Mr. Robot really is—namely himself and not his patronus of a father—the stage has been set for a real make-it-or-break-it situation in season two. The consequences, Duke! The consequences!
