THE LEGEND OF ZELDA Does VR On The Oculus Rift

Imagine having your feet planted on the luscious 8-bit grasses of Hyrule, or standing face to stomach with the giant Ganondorf before battling him in the honor of the Golden Goddesses, all from the first-person perspective. Well, this awesome video surfaced on the channel of Youtube user Vaecon, showing off a bit of gameplay from The Legend Of Zelda being played through an Oculus Rift. Sounds bogus, right? Take a look:

Oh me, oh my! I’m stuck somewhere between having my mind blown and having a major headache from trying to envision the game simultaneously from its original top-down perspective. And as if the Oculus needed any further validation of its magnificence, ya know? The full version of ZeldaVR will be available sometime in March, but in the meantime, you can grab the beta version of the game on Oculus right here.
