It was previously revealed that, for the first time in a The Legend of Zelda game, Breath Of The Wild would be getting some post-release downloadable content. We already know vague details about them: The first one was said to be arriving this summer and will add a Cave of Trials challenge, a new hard mode, and “a new feature for the in-game map. The second is coming around the end of the year and adds a dungeon and a new original storyline.
That was confirmed and expanded upon in Nintendo’s showcase presentation this morning, which revealed that the first expansion pack, “The Master Trials,” will be available June 30, while the second, “The Champion’s Ballad,” is coming this holiday season.

According to Nintendo, the first pack includes “Trial of the Sword, Master Mode, Heroâs Path, Travel Medallion, Korok Mask and eight new armors,” most of which we previously explained here. Meanwhile, details about the second set of DLC are still scarce.

What we do know is that four new Amiibo figures are coming soon, for Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa. It’s unclear what effect they’ll have in-game, but we do know that they look super cool:
