What would Johnny Storm look like, ignited and riding currents of super-heated air, in real life? Outfitting a drone with an incredibly flammable dummy is one way to find out.

In the video above from DidThatJustHappen, “viral video agency” Thinkmodo shows off another one of its human-shaped drones as a bit of viral marketing for most recent Fantastic Four film. It was shot at the Fire Service Academy in Nassau County, New York with a handful of firefighters (some smoking cigars in slow motion) watching, presumably waiting to see if they had to put out the Human Torch themselves.

Despite the danger that the flaming person poses, showering sparks down on empty houses as it flies, the drone display is undeniably impressive. The pyrotechnics experts on hand somehow made sure that the flaming mass wouldn’t destroy the drone mid-flight, and that it would actually look like a person flying around, not just a fireball.
