The news has been flowing out of D23 Expo when it comes to films, parks, and resorts, but the floor of the exhibit hall is hopping too. There are three stores to shop (and stand in line for), the Walt Disney Archives exhibit celebrating the 60th anniversary of Disneyland (also a thing to stand in line for), a preview of Shanghai Disneyland, and a plethora of photo ops. And then there’s the cosplay. Costumes at D23 Expo aren’t like costumes at any other conventions. They’re focused on the parks, Disney films, and Disney’s properties. Mash-ups are everywhere you look, and they are so creative that it hurts. While I wandered the floor, I spotted Chewbacca as Beast, Darla from Finding Nemo, a Jedi Captain America, the Hatbox Ghost from the Haunted Mansion, and much more. See ’em all in the below gallery.
