THE EXPANSE Cast and Creators Drop Season 4 Hints in New Video

It has been a roller coaster year (or better yet a roller Roci) for fans of The Expanse. In May, the beloved show was canceled by Syfy after three seasons, leaving loyal viewers devastated and shocked. But following a huge public outpouring of support—and also a whole lot of anger—the series quickly found a new home at Amazon Prime, which picked the show up for a fourth year. The cast and creators behind the beloved sci-fi series know that without the work of their most dedicated loyalists, the rest of their story would have been lost in the darkness of space forever. So at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con they had a very special message to thank everyone who worked to keep them on the air… though you might care more about the hints they gave for what the future might hold for the show.

Naren Shankar was one of the showrunners who took part in a panel for Amazon Prime Video where the video, which also shows some concept art, debuted. So what could we see next season? The Ring Gate opening up! Moving to other worlds! And to think we were almost denied all this.

So when will the show actually return? Amazon says season four will debut on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S. in 2019. Hopefully next year will be a much smoother ride for fans.

What do you expect to see from season four? What do you hope to see? Journey into our comments section below and expand our minds with your best ideas for the show.
