THE DIVISION Beta Hits at the End of January

Huzzah! The beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division will be kicking off on January 29th for Xbox One users, and a day later on both the PS4 and PC. The beta test will unfortunately only run through the 31st. The news was confirmed earlier today by Ubisoft, but it comes as no surprise since rumors around the web had already been predicting a January launch date for the highly-anticipated beta.

There are several ways you can secure a spot in the beta come the 29th. First, you can pre-order the game to secure a code, which you then register for a guaranteed spot. The other option is to register on the title’s official site for a chance to get in on the fun. Though, I’d imagine the wait list is fairly long by now. If you’re really not about the pre-order life but still want to join the New York-based action, you can wait and hope that the beta test opens up to the general public at some point.

The more I see of this game, the more excited I get. Ubisoft recently released a brand new trailer that takes a closer look at the RPG elements, and it looks incredibly fun. The video posted above really does show how intricate the battlefield will be, so I hope we get to tinker with a lot of those mechanics in the beta. The full game will hit retail shelves on March 8th.

Did you guys already secure your spot in the beta? Which platform will you be playing on? How excited are you to finally get your hands on this long-awaited title? Let us know in the comments below.
