The CW Unleashes a New Extended Trailer for THE FLASH and ARROW Crossover

The DC superheroes of the CW are off next week, but The Flash and Arrow will be back during the first week of December for their biggest crossover to date!

Both The Flash and Arrow have been slowly setting the stage for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the new live-action series set to debut early next year. The Atom, White Canary, Heat Wave, Captain Cold, and both sides of Firestorm were given big introductions over the last two seasons of Arrow and The Flash. However, it appears that Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée) and Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) will receive an even bigger debut during the two-night crossover event.

There are spoilers ahead for The Flash and Arrow crossover! You’ve been warned!

Despite making two previous appearances on The Flash, Hawkgirl’s alter ego, Kendra Saunders, has no idea about her heroic destiny. Her only speaking role came in a recent episode when Cisco (Carlos Valdes) asked her out on a date. When the crossover begins, the immortal villain Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) attempts to kill Kendra and Cisco, which only attracts the attention of the Flash (Grant Gustin) himself.

Unfortunately for the Flash, Vandal Savage is in a league of his own. That’s why the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) and the rest of Team Arrow are called in for the assist. Even Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) will become involved during Arrow’s half of the crossover. And judging from his appearance in this new extended trailer, even Malcolm has reasons to fear Vandal Savage!

The two-part storyline will begin on Tuesday, December 1 on The Flash before wrapping up on Wednesday, December 2 on Arrow.
