Predicting Which Stories We’ll See in THE CLONE WARS’ Final Season

Lucasfilm sent this year’s San Diego Comic-Con into a frenzy when they announced that The Clone Wars will return for a final season. Fans of the galaxy far, far away had long hoped the beloved animated series would one day get a chance for real closure, but now that it’s going to happen, everyone wants to know which stories it will wrap up and how will it connect to other Star Wars shows and movies. To answer these questions, we went digging through the files in the Jedi Temple Librarym on the latest episode of our series Animation Investigation.

In the newest installment of our series dedicated to all things ‘toon, host Hector Navarro explains why we are confident that three specific four-episode plots ARE the story arcs that will make up the final 12-episode season. Two of them have not only already been written, but we’ve seen them before as story reels. And the season’s new teaser trailer shown at SDCC points at a certain siege we’ve all been waiting for.

There you have it—the final season of The Clone Wars will be about The Crystal Crisis on Utapau, The Bad Batch, and the Siege of Mandalore. Maybe. But either way, there is one thing we are absolutely positive we are going to get: more Ahsoka Tano, and that’s really all we need.

Well, that and her final showdown with Anakin.

But what do you think? What stories and character do you expect to see in the show’s final season? Tell us in the comments section below.
