CATASTROPHE Season 2 Red Band Trailer Is Very Funny, Very NSFW (Exclusive)

Warning: this trailer is NSFW!

There are few things we love more than an unexpected take on the television romantic comedy. And we love anything with Rob Delaney and/or Sharon Horgan—a love that only quadruples with the inclusion of Carrie Fisher and her precious pooch, Gary. Add a dash of super-unsavory (in the best way) language and a little bit (OK a lot a bit) of sex, and… well? We’re head over heels. Which is why we’re super-pumped to be able to show you the very NSFW poop-and-sex-joke-filled—don’t say we didn’t warn you!—season two trailer for Amazon’s Catastrophe.

We’ve been raving about the show since its first season aired in 2015 (it even made our best-of list!), but as is evidenced by the trailer above, you don’t necessarily need to watch season two to hop aboard number two, which picks up several years after season one. Rob and Sharon—both the characters and the comedians—have the ability to take completely mundane, everyday situations and inject the sort of unexpected comedic energy into it that makes it feel funnier, fresher, and more exciting than almost any comedy—romantic or otherwise—on TV. To take subjects that may, to the uninitiated, seem boring, dumb, disgusting, inappropriate, or dark and turn them into relatable-yet-hilarious situations? That’s a skill: one Rob honed on Twitter (and on stage in his own stand-up) and Sharon has been exploring in her myriad projects like her 2006 series Pulling, and as a star on The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.

Needless to say, if you’re a fan of dirty humor and NSFW antics, you’re going to love Catastrophe, season two of which premieres today on Amazon! What do you think of Catastrophe? A fan of Rob and/or Sharon’s previous work? Let us know in the comments below!
