Take a seat, Spider-Man! While Marvel’s most famous insectoid superhero is currently in the process of being rebooted, Ant-Man is flying into theaters and into our hearts on the back of a gigantic carpenter ant. Marvel’s Ant-Man, which is in theaters now, stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, an ex-con who is forced to put his particular set of skills (breaking and entering) to use at the behest of a curmudgeonly scientist/former superhero Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas). Of course, this is breaking and entering in the name of saving the world, with a healthy dash of size-changing action, heartfelt emotion, and a great sense of humor, to boot.
To take you further inside the world of Ant-Man, I sat down with stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, T.I., David Dastmalchian, Michael Peña, and director Peyton Reed. In our wide-ranging conversation, we talked about Ant-Man’s unique appeal as a hero, how he fits into the larger picture of the MCU, the possibility of an #Antourage spinoff movie, and waffles. We also talked an awful lot about waffles. You’ll understand once you see it.
