You’ve got moxie, kid, but you don’t have Moon Moxxi. You know who does? Cosplayer extraordinaire Jessica Nigri, that’s who, and she made a point of rocking some seriously impressive Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel-ready Moon Moxxi cosplay at Nerdist Laser Tag at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, to boot. Still, although we love Moxxi, our appetite for awe-inspiring cosplay runs as deep as our love for laser-fueled arena battle, so together with 2K and Gearbox, we organized a super special that came as close as humanly possible to bringing Borderlands to life: a Borderlands Cosplay Laser Tag Megamatch!

With everyone from Handsome Jack to Psychos to Gaige the Mechromancer to Zer0 and beyond in attendance, this was one of the highlights of the weekend at Petco Park. Thankfully, unlike the wilds of Pandora, there were no casualties save for the pride of those who lost the laser war. Didn’t make it out to witness the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel sweetness in person?
