The latest in a long line of characters and concepts suddenly thrust into the meme spotlight, Snapchat‘s dancing hot dog has tapped and spun his way across the internet the last week. Joining the likes of Harambe and covfefe, Hot Dog Boy toes the line between adorable and downright terrifying, as all good memes should. If you were to see Hot Dog Boy breakdancing away in your living room at 4 in the morning you’d either freak out or go back to sleep, convinced he was a hallucination brought on by the seven hot dogs you jammed into your face at dinner. Well, the internet has jammed about a million hot dogs in its collective face and has been hallucinating some odd-as-hell stuff. That’s right! Hot Dog Boy is the spawn of none other than our own Daniel “The Dogfather” Casey. He cares not that his demented progeny has terrorized millions, only that no one in the office find out that the headphone-wearing meat stick is his. But we found out, and we will not let this slide.
