Of course you need a break from more discussion of Rihanna and The Grammys and things about the State of the Union that have nothing to do with politics and the Harlem Shake. Do so with this week’s 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week where the point is to be funny rather than be so abstract that it gets shoehorned (i.e., made into a meme) into being “funny.”
1. Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifiankis is finally back for The Oscars. Thank goodness there are parts one and two for how much hilarity is packed in.
2. Submitted: YouTube’s Official Comedy enlists D.I.R.T. sketch to get to the bottom of “catfish-ing” really is.
3. Bill Burr finds the funny angle in anything. Ex. Calling out Oprah for her Lance Armstrong interview.
4. Dave Hill gives a great tour of NYC for what to do on Valentine’s Day, especially if you’re really lonely.
5. Futurama’s 7th season gets an extended trailer for when it returns this summer at Comedy Central.
Per usual, Iâm taking submissions for the 5 MIFV every week like one featured above. Same rules still apply.
-E-mail embeddable video link to [email protected] with subject line â5 MIFV Submissionâ
-Submit by the end of the upcoming Monday (which would be 2/18)
-Videos must be posted online (i.e. have a time stamp that says so) between 2/12 and the end of Monday 2/18
-Donât add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link.
I pay a quick visit each day a few web pages and websites to read
posts, but this website gives feature based writing.
