Tamashii Nations’ New DOCTOR STRANGE Figure Will Fire You up

Tamashii Nations’ New DOCTOR STRANGE Figure Will Fire You up

What do you call it when a toy of the Sorcerer Supreme is the best one out there? The Sorcerer Supreme Supreme? Whatever you name it, Bandai Tamashii Nations‘ upcoming action figure of the Benedict Cumberbatch incarnation of Doctor Strange is the greatest we’ve seen so far, at least in 6-inch scale. You might say he blazes his way into our hearts, with a series of large flame accessory pieces that, like the figure itself, can be rearranged in multiple poses.

But wait, as the infomercials like to say…there’s more! He comes with multiple spell discs, multiple hands, and even two different facial expressions (serious and angry, because he’s too cool to crack a joke). He’ll be available to purchase in June, just in time for that Cumberbatch coolness to take the edge off the summer heat.

Prior to the good Doctor’s arrival, Tamashii Nations will also be taking another crack at Iron Man, with a new sculpt of the Mark VI armor. While it will feature the usual snap-on effects and interchangeable armor parts, it will also come with a pretty major new extra–a Hall of Armor compartment with LED lights that fits any 6-inch Iron Man figure, and can hook up to others to make as large a hall as you wish. It’s a Stark reminder that superhero collecting is a hobby that will always get sequels. This latest take on ol’ shellhead is flying your way in April.

Check out all the pictures in our gallery below, then let us know in comments if this Ironic Benediction (that’ll be their WWE tag team name, if they ever need one) will be the duo to lead your collection into the new year.
