SUICIDE SQUAD EXTENDED CUT Trailer Reveals More of Harley Quinn’s Origin

Today’s Movie Morsels is guaranteed to make your day just a little bit crazier. We’ve got the trailer for the extended cut of this summer’s hit antihero epic Suicide Squad, which features a couple of revealing new shots of Harley Quinn‘s alter ego Dr. Harleen Quinzel before the Joker brought her to the Dark Side. Plus, the first ever footage from John Wick: Chapter 2, the red band trailer for The Edge of Seventeen, and a whole lot more!

Suicide Squad

No matter what one thinks of Suicide Squad, there isn’t a man, woman, or child alive right now who wouldn’t agree that Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn is far and away the best part of the film. So it’s heartening to learn that even more of the Joker’s better half will be seen in the film’s extended cut, when it lands on Digital HD on November 15th and Blu-ray on December 13th. Here’s the video announcing the release…

John Wick: Chapter 2

“I’m not afraid of John Wick!” Well, as we saw in last year’s violent sleeper hit, a lot of people damn well should be! Especially now that Keanu Reeves’ killer is wearing the latest Italian fashions for a good old-fashioned showdown in Rome. The film’s first teaser trailer just dropped, and the full trailer will premiere this weekend at New York Comic Con.

Alita: Battle Angel

From Dusk Till Dawn Season 2

Another day, another intriguing bit of Alita: Battle Angel casting news… So who’s the latest to join the adaptation of the beloved sci-fi manga now? Why, none other than From Dusk till Dawn: The Series‘ leading lady Eiza Gonzalez (pictured above). The Mexican actress, no stranger to working with director Robert Rodriguez, joins Rosa Salazar (in the title role of a cybernetic bounty hunter), Jackie Earle Haley, Ed Skrein, and Christoph Waltz in the film, which debuts on July 20, 2018.

The Edge of Seventeen

If what my film critic friends are telling me is true, I’d say The Edge of Seventeen has a strong chance of becoming this generation’s defining coming-of-age classic, in the mode of Fast Times at Ridgemont High or Dazed and Confused. And with a killer cast like the one it’s got, how could it fail to be anything but? If you don’t believe me, check out The Edge of Seventeen‘s new red band trailer…

Underworld: Blood Wars

A handful of new Underworld: Blood Wars character posters have just appeared online, underlining the film’s snowy setting. Do you prefer Kate Beckinsale in a parka, Theo James looking soulful, or baddie Charles Dance wearing something Johnny Cash might sport if he was going goth for Halloween? Take a look and let us know!

Jackie

Finally today, we have the brand new trailer for the Jacqueline Kennedy biopic Jackie, starring one of the most admired women in Hollywood today, Natalie Portman, as perhaps the most admired woman of the 1960s. Enjoy!
