STREET FIGHTER V, UNCHARTED 4, and Project Morpheus: PlayStation Experience Round-Up

After twenty years of Crash Bandicootin’, Jak and Daxterin’, Ratchet and Clankin’ good fun, the PlayStation is a whopping twenty years old – and Sony celebrated this past weekend with a massive show called the PlayStation Experience that focused on the future of the platform. It was – in a word – awesome.

Join Jessica Chobot and special guest Malik Forte on today’s Nerdist News as they dig into the coolest stuff the PSX had to offer – the reveal of system-exclusive Street Fighter V, David Jaffe’s controversial new game Drawn to Death, our amazing first look at Uncharted 4 gameplay, news that Yakuza 5 and Persona 5 are finally coming stateside, the bait-and-switch PS4 rerelease of Final Fantasy VII, the absolute deluge of indie games coming to the system, and even the latest iteration of Sony’s Project Morpheus – which may or may not be even better than the Oculus Rift!

Thanks for watching today’s show! Find out what you missed by not playing Fable; watch Jessica, Chris Hardwick, and CaptainSparklez play Dragon Age: Inquisition; and let us know in the comments below what you were missing from the PlayStation Experience!

Street Fighter 5: “Finally, a next-gen fighting game!” – Malik Forté

Killer Instinct? I know we’re only talking about PlayStation here, but still.

  2. kerrell says:

The end of this video is the best. Malik and Chobot fighting over the 20th anniversary PS4. Malik don’t let her take it from you.

  3. DastardlyDan says:

Honestly, I think they are saving the HD remasterd FF7 for 2017 (20th anniversary of the title).
