As the release date for Star Wars: The Last Jedi draws ever closer, we’re growing more and more desperate for a glimpse of our favorite space wizards. With only one trailer released and a rad behind the scenes video, Star Wars hounds are getting their fill from set photos and magazine spreads. Luckily for us Hungarian film magazine Cinemania Mozimánia has a brand new image of the OG Chosen One himself, Luke Skywalker.

In this previously unseen image, Luke is serving all kinds of jaded Jedi master looks, with a seriously heavy duty cloak and some flowing gray locks. He’s not looking particularly happy to have been found, which fits into a lot of what we’ve already discovered about his meeting with hopeful new student Rey.

Luke is rocking fabrics that are a lot darker than your normal beige Jedi attire. Could this lean into the potential for the Gray Jedi finally making appearance in modern Star Wars canon? Has Luke been utilizing the dark side of the Force since he went rogue after losing control of his former pupil Kylo Ren? Whatever this new look means, we can’t wait to see what Luke’s been up to when Star Wars: The Last Jedi drops on December 15 this year.
How do you feel about Luke’s new look? Is he giving you dark Obi-Wan vibes? Or is his beard a little too well kept to have been on Ahch-To that whole time? Swing your lightsabers and fan theories into our comments and let us know!
