STAR WARS Meets AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON in New Mash-Up

Typically, mash-ups are quite a bit of fun, but when mind blowing great mash-ups come along, they definitely find a way to separate themselves from the pack. There’s a reason many of them don’t work: the properties being joined together have too little in common and are thus difficult to be brought together as one cohesive unit. However, this has never been a problem for YouTuber The Unusual Suspect.

Over the last few months, we’ve written about this guy and his mash-up editing abilities numerous times. Remember all of those awesome Power Rangers themed videos, the Harry Potter/Scott Pilgrim combo and the Interstellar themed Spaceballs trailer? All the same guy, and that’s why were so excited to bring you yet another piece of gold from this mastermind– only this time bringing the two biggest Disney franchises together for one epic video:

Remember two years ago when Patton Oswalt did his brilliant Star Wars meets Marvel filibuster on Parks & Recreation? This would be a perfect trailer for that event should such a thing ever exist. Of course, the likelihood of Disney ever bringing the two organizations together on the big screen is about as possible as George Lucas returning to the franchise, but even so: what if they did? What if the gang at Disney had a bit too much to drink one evening and accidentally decided to bring these two entertainment behemoths together? Could you imagine the collective “what the f**k” moment we’d all have watching Tony Stark and Steve Rogers take on Darth Vader (we assume time travel is somehow involved as Star Wars took place a long time ago)?

It’d be the end-all-be-all of tent-pole filmmaking.
