STAR WARS Luxury Scarves Let You Bundle Up with The Force

In parts of the world that are not Los Angeles, California, there is a crisp note in the air and it makes sense to pile on layers with long sleeves, jackets, and scarves. I was already envious of people in those parts of the world, but now I’m especially jealous because living in a colder climate means being able to wear beautiful new Star Wars scarves designed by Emma J. Shipley.

The collection includes fine art print wool and cotton scarves created from Shipley’s original artwork and stills from the films. Ties and pocket squares will be released soon. The design prominently features Darth Vader, spaceships, the Millennium Falcon, stormtroopers — basically everything you could want in a Star Wars scarf.

Shipley teamed up with Disney UK for the collection, and was inspired by the battles in the Star Wars films, the colors from the original trilogy, and the stunning posters from the late ’70s and early ’80s. She incorporated imagery from movie stills while putting a unique spin on the familiar characters and ships. The original artwork was hand-drawn in pencil and has so many details that I’m convinced Shipley has the patience of Yoda. The art was printed onto fabric and finished by hand. I’d call it a fully operational scarf.

Be sure to visit the gallery below to see the scarves and the available colors. You can purchase the scarves and prints directly from Shipley’s website.
