If you wanted to buy Star Wars homeware five years ago, your choices were limited mostly to coffee mugs or plastic cups. But my, how far we’ve come. To celebrate May the 4th and Solo: A Star Wars Story, ThinkGeek has released the Lando Calrissian Accents Collection, a.k.a. gold and white art deco dinnerware inspired by Lando’s swanky, luxurious taste. Hello, what have we here.
I have never purchased Star Wars merchandise so quickly in my entire life.
The dinnerware collection includes a bottle stopper, highball glasses (sold individually), a set of four salad plates, and a set of four dinner plates. The glasses come in two designs, one inspired by Han and one inspired by Lando. Please note it’s the Lando one that features a Millennium Falcon print, not the Han glass.
The plates are porcelain with gold art that subtly evokes the galaxy far, far away without being in your face. If you didn’t know they were influenced by Lando Calrissian, you wouldn’t know they were Star Wars. They’re elegant, classy–everything you’d picture Lando having on hand to serve important guests visiting his Cloud City establishment.
Ready to add some fine dining options to your cabinets? You can purchase the Lando collection from ThinkGeek.
What kind of meals do you think Lando serves on his fancy plates? Will you save these plates for special occasions? Tell us in the comments.
