STAR WARS’ John Boyega Busts Out the Dance Moves for Jimmy Fallon

One of the coolest things about Star Wars, going back to the original trilogy, is how much the cast is like a true family. Mark Hamill always referred to the late Carrie Fisher as his “space sis,” and often mentions how the two were very much like siblings in real life too.

Now it seems that this new trilogy’s younger characters have bonded in similar fashion, as it seems that Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, aka Rey and Finn, have a similar brother/sister relationship as well. The pair love to tease each other, and adorably call each other by the nickname “Peanut.”

While appearing on The Tonight Show to promote The Last Jedi and the re-release of his film Detroit, host Jimmy Fallon prepared a little “question from a fan” for Boyega, and the fan turned out to be none other than Daisy Ridley, who asked that he show off some of his dance moves from the The Last Jedi wrap party.

As you can see in the video above, Boyega wasted no time in showing off his vintage ’80s Michael Jackson moves for the audience, and we’ve got to say, he’s actually pretty good at mimicking MJ. Many have tried, but our favorite ex-Storm Trooper has got the moves.

Although they are probably mostly apart for much of The Last Jedi, given where Daisy Ridley’s character is off to, hopefully the film gives us a decent amount of Rey/Finn screen time together, as the chemistry between John Boyega and Daisy Ridley was so much of a reason why The Force Awakens works as well as it does. Don’t make us wait till Episode IX, Rian Johnson!

Do you just love the adorable friendship of John Boyega and Daisy Ridley as much as we do? Be sure to let us know down below in the comments.
