Star Wars Day Photos

People all over the world celebrated May the 4th, aka Star Wars Day, by gathering, dressing up, and having impromptu lightsaber duels. Here are some photos from the various goings-on across the United States and beyond:

Continue the Star Wars spirit by registering for this year’s Course of the Force run benefiting Make-A-Wish. The relay goes from Marin County, CA, all the way down to San Diego during the week leading up to Comic-Con 2013. It’s for a good cause, and it’ll give you yet another excuse to wear your sneakers under your Jedi robes. Function AND comfort. Quarter-mile spaces are now available, so do not delay.

Had a blast at the EW CapeTown Film Fest, my parents are in that second pic… it was cool to share my love of Star Wars with my whole family (we had 7 people at the 2pm showing). And Dad totally got into it, he was disappointed he didn’t have his own costume… face paint made up for it though! Really appreciate all of the 501st members that came out, they were fun and so nice. Plus, Sam Witwer took a pic with me! Can’t wait to start making plans for next May the 4th… or if I can’t wait that long, Course of the Force!

I was at Hollywood Studios. As he approached the stage, my brother-in-law overheard DJ Lobot say “This is really happening, isn’t it?” with a huge grin on his face.

    That was pretty awesome.
