As far as we’re concerned, the amazing Saturday Night Live parody of Undercover Boss—which sent Kylo Ren incognito as Matt the Radar Technician to find out what his employees on Starkiller Base really thought of him—is practically canon. Clearly, we’re not alone in that opinion, as a new Star Wars Battlefront II mod will let you play as a lightsaber-wielding Matt.
Star Wars HQ uploaded a video to YouTube showing Matt in action, and if you think it sounds ridiculous it’s even better when you watch a blonde-haired and orange-vested Adam Driver cutting his way through enemies, across ships and planets.
Since you’ll obviously want to play the game as Matt, you can get the arcade mod from GameTSF here, and the Fire Saber one from DeathsStrokeYT at this link.
But while this is an amazing way to make your way through Battlefront II, it would probably be impossible for Kylo to keep up with his undercover Matt ruse if he were running around with his lightsaber murdering people. That said, we’re not sure anyone every truly fell for it in the first place.
In fairness to him, Kylo wasn’t lying about his abs. So, like we said, this is all essentially canon. Long story short, Battlefront III should just include Matt the Technician as a playable character right from the start.
