Many of Star Wars‘ greatest villains have already been confirmed for Star Wars Battlefront II, including Darth Maul, Darth Vader, and Kylo Ren. But now, the biggest bad guy of them all is stepping up his role in crushing the Rebellion. EA has confirmed that Emperor Palpatine will once again be a playable character in Star Wars Battlefront II, and he’s even more powerful than before.

As always, the Emperor’s favorite attack is his Force lightning ability, which he gleefully uses to execute any enemies in his path. The Emperor really does seem to enjoy his work! And this time, his Force lightning can immobilize a large number of foes, in addition to a new chain lightning attack that can strike multiple opponents at once.
The closing seconds of the video also a tease a rematch between the Emperor and Yoda, which ended in a stalemate in Revenge of the Sith. During the original trilogy, fans didn’t get a chance to see the Emperor use the full scope of his abilities, but that’s what makes his inclusion in Battlefront II so much fun.
The Emperor will play a part in Battlefront II‘s single player campaign, as the incredibly chilling Messenger droid will allow Palpatine’s final orders to resonate from beyond the grave.
Star Wars Battlefront II will be released on November 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
