Hard to believe itâs been 50 years since we first heard the words, âSpace… the final frontier.â It was at that moment that our world would change forever, as we began following along with the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Over the years, the crew has changed, but the love of exploring strange new worlds has only grown.
To honor the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, RockLove Jewelry along with CBS has teamed up to create a line of hand-crafted specialty jewelry, which are first gracing the world at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. All officially licensed, these pieces are made with sterling silver and gemstones.
The Delta Enamel Pendant is the Delta Insignia recreated in sterling silver with the 50th anniversary logo on the back. The signature Star Trek uniform colors are made out of blue topaz, garnet, citrine, and CZ. We all know the red one isn’t going to make it out of the box.
For fans of Leonard Nimoyâs iconic Vulcan, the IDIC necklace is a nod to Spockâs own necklace from the original series. Engraved with the Vulcan philosophy, “Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations,â this necklace symbolizes the elements that create truth and beauty.
The shining star of this Star Trek collection is the Starfleet Trillion Ring. The iconic Starfleet insignia is recognized all over the word, and here itâs representing by a 7mm trillion-cut gemstone flanked by four celestial brilliant-cut rounds. Like the pendants, these also come in uniform colors, using blue topaz, garnet, citrine, and CZ, and sparkling stand-ins. These rings are so brilliant you could go full pun and ask your loved one to “engage” with one of these rings. Too far? For a Star Trek fan, nowhere is too far to boldly go.
The 50th Anniversary Star Trek Collection will be available online starting July 25 through rocklove.com, thinkgeek.com and startrek.com but fans headed to Comic-Con will get a chance to purchase it at the ThinkGeek booth on July 20th before the official release.
