Stan Lee’s IRON FIST Cameo Discovered and More TV News

If you’ve already binged through Marvel’s Iron Fist, you may have spotted Stan Lee‘s cameo in the Netflix series. I missed it, so I’ll share when to see it in today’s TV-Cap along with some snazzy portraits from The Flash/Supergirl musical crossover episode, an American Gods interview, and more.

If you don’t want to be spoiled about where to spot Stan Lee in Iron Fist, skip ahead!

Found the Stan Lee cameo

Aha! Stan Lee is part of the fabric of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His cameos in the films and television series add a “Where’s Waldo?” aspect to the stories. I totally missed Lee in Iron Fist, but he appears in the final episode on a recruiting poster for the NYPD. An Imgur user uploaded it, so you can get an idea of where to look for Lee. He’s appeared on some sort of NYPD poster in all Marvel’s Netflix series. You can see them all at Polygon.

Renewal Updates. It’s time to drop some renewal news on your laps:

Current Events. When Bryan Fuller started working on American Gods three years ago, the world was a different place. Things have changed in the political arena—especially since the 2016 presidential election. In the above video, Fuller addresses how the current political climate gives the upcoming Starz series (premiering April 30) new context. [Nerdist]

A Refined Palate. Adventure Time‘s Jake doesn’t kid around when it comes to the topic of food. The dog is known for his snacks in the animated series—one of them being a 12-step masterpiece of a sandwich. Binging with Babish‘s Andrew Rea has crafted it. See the making of the sandwich here at Nerdist.

Finding Inspiration. Cosplayers seem to be always making the impossible. They awe me with their patience and skills, and Syfy’s new competition series, Cosplay Melee, will show off the best of the best. Yvette Nicole Brown will host, and we have an exclusive clip to share with you. Cosplay Melee premieres tonight, March 21, on Syfy at 10:00p.m. ET/PT.

An Addition. Season three of The Flash may be in the downwards slide towards the finale, but they’ve added a recurring character. Anne Dudek will join the series as Tracy Brand. She’ll make her first appearance in episode 20. [TVLine]

Singing Time. Finally. “Duet,” The Flash/Supergirl musical crossover, airs on The CW tonight, March 21. I’m ready to see Barry and Kara glam it up. Look at these two fancy portraits! You can see more cast members surrounded by lights at CBR. [Images: The CW]

Talking to the Dead. NBC’s Midnight, Texas is the place to fit in if you’re an outsider. The town is on the veil between the living and hell, so there are dead people, a psychic, a vampire, and all kinds of weirdness. You can get a taste of the town the above trailer. Midnight, Texas will arrive on July 25.
