Watch SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING’s First 10 Minutes Ahead of DVD Release

While a certain Amazon warrior princess reigned supreme in superhero ticket sales stateside, the winner of the summer of 2017’s worldwide box office was Spider-Man: Homecoming, proving that one can’t dismiss Peter Paker’s incredible and enduring global popularity. Spider-Man remains Marvel Comics’ #1 icon, and Homecoming reminded us all as to just why that is.

Director Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Homecoming brought in a haul of $875 million dollars and had stellar reviews, proving the partnership between Sony and Marvel Studios was the exact right call to save this franchise. Now, most of us can’t wait to see Tom Holland’s Spidey swing across the skyline of New York City once again. In anticipation of the film’s upcoming release on digital and home video, Sony has provided fans with the first 10 minutes of Homecoming, which you can view below.

The sequence gives us Peter Parker’s POV on his big adventure in Captain America: Civil War and focuses on the backstory of Michael Keaton’s character Adrian Toomes, a.k.a. the Vulture. Keaton provided Spider-Man with his most human and compelling villain the superhero genre has seen in ages. Tying in the Vulture’s origin story to the events of the very first Avengers film also helped bring Spider-Man’s world more closely aligned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in an effective way.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is available on Digital HD this Tuesday, September 26th and 4K Ultra HD, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD October 17th. You can check out the Blu-ray cover art down below.

Are you as excited as we are to finally own Homecoming and getting to watch it over and over? Be sure to let us know down below in the comments.
