When you weaponize a cat’s cuteness, ironically, things can get pretty ugly. A recent video of a mod from the vintage tactical shooter Special Force 2 is proof of this feline proverb. The mod includes a cat weapon that fires hearts at oncoming targets, all while aiming down its sights… Or rather, its cute furry ears. You want to talk about the most horrific sounding tool of destruction? I think we have a winner ladies and gents! Other cat-based weapons include balls of yarn that can be thrown at the speed of bullets and cat nip can grenades. Check out all of these in action at the top of the page.
As for the game, Special Force 2: Tale of the Truthful Pledge is quite the obscure one and has been since it was quietly released back in 2007. I was actually surprised to see that anyone is still playing this, though I guess it’s not that much of a stretch when you consider that folks are still playing Counter-Strike 1.6. Either way, this mod has definitely dragged the the cat back out of the bag and has possibly given this game a little more life.
What animal would you like to see converted into a rapid-fire weapon? Is there anything cats haven’t done on the internet these days? Claw on down to the comments with your thoughts!
