Save the Children produced this video for its Numeracy Boost/Crowdrise campaign, which is bringing math education to poor countries, starting this year in Bangladesh and Malawi. It features John Oliver, The Big Bang Theory‘s Simon Helberg, Modern Family‘s Julie Bowen, and Michael Boatman (modestly, “that guy from Spin City“; also, The Good Wife and Gossip Girl, among others), first goofing around, then asking for your support. The video was produced by a team from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, so it gets its point across pretty well. They’re trying to raise $125,000 in 60 days, and they’ve just started.
