“All Star” Impressionist Sings Smash Mouth Song Using 24 Cartoons

There might not be a person alive that loves Smash Mouth‘s hit song “All Star” sincerely instead of ironically, but robot historians will likely think it was mankind’s greatest achievement based on how obsessed we seem to be with it.

It never goes away.

It will never die.

It will long outlast all of us.

So we might as well have some fun with it! Like impressionist Brock Baker did when he used the voices of 24 famous cartoon characters, spanning generations, to sing it. Such an idea is obviously very, very goofy, so who better to sing lead than Goofy?

“All Star” has never sounded better. Sincerely.

There are so many great, spot-on impressions here that it’s basically impossible to list the best, but some of our personal favorites include Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Rocko from Rocko’s Modern Life, Mark Hamill’s Joker, and Homestar Runner and Strong Bad.

However, his impersonations of two of the most unique, recognizable voices in Hollywood might be his most impressive work here. His Brock Samson from Adult Swim’s Venture Brothers (voiced by Patrick Warburton) and his Bob Belcher from Fox’s Bob’s Burgers (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin) are indistinguishable from the real actors. Close your eyes and listen to it again.

In fact, do it for the entire video, because they are all that good.

As for Smash Mouth’s “All Star,” we don’t know which version will prove to be the definitive one in our history, but we’d be very happy if the machines thought it was this one instead of the original.

We’ll look way less goofy that way.

Which impression was your favorite? Be an all-star and tell us in the comments below.
