Sing Along to This A Cappella Version THE POWERPUFF GIRLS Theme ft. Dodger

Sugar, spice, everything nice, and bit of Chemical X may have been used to create the perfect little crime fighting girls but YouTubers The Warp Zone prove that all you really need are your vocal chords, a little bit of editing and your pals to make an awesome cover of The Powerpuff Girls theme.

Dressed as Bubbles, Buttercup, Blossom, Fuzzy Lumpkins and Mojo Jojo, the guys are joined by fellow YouTuber Dodger (dressed as Professor Utonium) who helps them belt out the finest a cappella theme song this side of the City of Townsville. We only wish they had somehow worked the devilishly evil and disturbingly falsetto’d “Him” into the song somehow, if for no other reason than to see how the costume would have turned out.

Even this short video has us really excited for The Powerpuff Girls‘ comeback. That’s right! You haven’t seen the last of the three adorable butt-whoopers. It was announced in June of last year that a new reboot of Craig McCracken’s breakthrough series would debut in 2016. Can we stave off our thirst for Margaret-Keane-looking heroines until then?!

This isn’t the The Warp Zone’s only attempt at a cappella awesomeness. Their channel is chock full of original music videos and many other vocal versions of theme songs like Spongebob Squarepants, X-Men , Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Darkwing Duck, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and even The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

How do you think these guys did with their rendition of the Powerpuff theme? How about those pipes on Dodger? What some other songs that deserve a good ol a cappell-ing? Let us know in the comments.
